Full description

Rhipsalis pilocarpa, a textural rhipsalis, gets its common name from the tiny, fine white hairs that cover its many branches and pendulous stems. But it is widely grown because it thrives indoors, where its clumps of delicate stems are prized, and has even received a Royal Agricultural Society Award of Garden Merit in recognition of this. At the tips of its branches, delightfully fragrant flowers appear, and it also bears tiny, red, berry-like fruits with bristles. It does prefer a lot of bright indirect light in addition to some early-morning and late-afternoon direct sunlight. R. pilocarpa needs plenty of water.
