Full description

The plant gets its name from its tiny, spherical, pea-shaped leaves, which have a string-like appearance and resemble pearls or beads. The plant can withstand droughts because of its green, water-storing leaves. The stems can droop for up to 90 cm. Under the right circumstances, it grows fairly quickly.
