Hymenocallis

Description

genus containing several evergreen species of perennial bulbous plants.
They produce terminal umbels, which resemble spidery daffodils (Narcissus), of fragrant flowers in the spring, summer, or winter, as well as a sizable cup made of the fused lower stamens.
Anthers that are facing inward are attached to the cup. Basal, oblong or strap-shaped, and mid- to dark green are the characteristics of the leaves.
